My name is Daouda Diouma and I give all kinds of rubbish a new life by collecting and recycling them from the street. I create little figurines and decorative items out of them. I get my inspiration from nature: Birds, butterflies and insects are my main motifs. Out of spoons, coffee pots, sandals, glasses, shoe brushes, sponges, tree roots, fabric scraps, I create something completely new. I sell my items on local markets and through Facebook groups.
